More about Special Singles Online!
Recently I attended a support group meeting at the Hospital for Joint
Diseases in NYC for people with disabilities. I have multiple sclerosis.
Unexpectedly I found the group consisted of people of all ages and
predominately singles. Everyone was looking to meet someone for that
intimate relationship. Some people wanted to connect with others who
shared traveling through life with a disability too. Anybody who has a
disability knows that although others can be sympathetic the only ones who
truly understand what the journey is like is other people with a disability.
And that's what inspired me to create this site.
Although it can be a lonely road it doesn't have to be now if you have
internet accessibility. Ultimately I hope this site will be a place where
people can meet and fall in love or just make some good friends who have a
lot in common. It will also be a place for people to post any ideas and
suggestions that will make this journey easier for those of us with
disabilities. I also plan to keep subscribers informed of new technology
and research as well as events of interest. So please join now because the
more members we have the more interesting and fun the site will be. And
please participate and post something you think will interest other members.
